As if you needed an excuse to pop down and dine with us by the sea….our delicious new Autumn/Winter menu is here!

Featuring comforting and decadent additions including Pan Roasted Venison Sausages with Puy lentils and a Dijon mustard cream sauce;  Smoked Haddock topped with cheese and mustard gratin, with crushed new potatoes, poached egg and wilted spinach and Confit Duck Leg with winter vegetable salad of celeriac , beetroot, fennel, red onion and mixed leaves.  

We know you’ll be spoilt for choice but make sure you leave room for dessert – will it be the Spiced Apple Spiced Crème brûlée with a cinnamon waffle or the Rich Chocolate Nemesis served with a vanilla crème fraiche ?

Warm goat’s cheese on a crostini with celery, watercress, mulled poach pear and candied walnuts

Shredded confit duck, honey roasted fig, spring onion, mizuna and a sesame and soya dressing

Potted prawns with curried butter and soda bread

Mains

Traditional turkey with all the trimmings

Braised blade of beef with roast garlic mash potato, baby onions, pancetta, kale and a whisky jus

Pan-fried fillet of salmon, caper and dill crushed new potatoes, braised leeks and a beurre blanc

Roast butternut squash and pumpkin risotto with spinach, sage crème fraiche and toasted pine nuts

From this Thursday 25th May our late evenings start (10pm finish daily) and our new
Summer Menus become available.  You’ll be delighted to see some familiar favourites and be introduced to some fresh ones, including some scrumptious new desserts.  Here’s a flavour of what’s on offer:

Fresh fillet of hake with crab croquettas, confit fennel, roast cherry tomatoes and Romesco sauce

What could be more delectable on a sunny day than an Afternoon Tea?  Great for sharing ours consist of a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches,  fluffy scones baked in the morning, strawberry preserve, clotted cream and your choice of homemade cake with either tea or coffee. Add a mini bottle of fizz for just £3.50. Now that’s an offer you can’t refuse!
