Our New Winter Menu is here…and it’s even more fishy!

Who doesn’t love the change of seasons for the new tastes and dishes it brings? Our chefs have come up trumps with our new winter menu still using as much locally sourced fresh produce as possible. Of course our famous seaside classic, Fish and Chips, is here to stay but we’ve introduced some fabulous new dishes to tempt you in. What that means is more delicious fresh fish dishes, a meltingly slow braised pork belly with crackling and Middle Eastern style vegetarian burger.
Not to forget pudding, we’ve added a treacle tart with sea salt clotted cream. Swoon!


Here’s a quick peek of what’s new…

Starters 

Red wine poached pear  
With walnut pesto, Dorset Blue Vinny and  celery salad

Confit duck 
Served warm with honey roasted fig and pine nut salad

Mains
Pan fried fillets of Sea Bass    
Marinated vegetable linguine and a basil pesto
 
Pan roasted fillet of Sea Trout     
With roasted winter  vegetables  and herb oilPan roasted fillet of Hake       
With a warm pancetta, roasted red onion and mixed bean salad, honey and mustard dressing

Chicken Schnitzel      
Crisp parmesan crusted chicken breast with buttered mashed potato, wilted kale, sautéed New Forest wild mushrooms and a Dijon cream sauce

Pork Belly    
Slow braised, glazed with pomegranate molasses  and served with an apple and celeriac slaw, herbed new potatoes and crackling

Chickpea Kofta and Halloumi Burger   
Chickpea kofta, grilled halloumi cheese, artichoke heart,  mint yogurt and hand cut chips

Desserts

Treacle tart  
with sea salt clotted cream and vanilla sauce

Warm double chocolate brownie    
with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream
